Crockpot Recipe Saving Your Oven for Other Things
4 cans regular green beans open and drain (you can add more if feeding a large group)
1 can of cream of mushroom soup for every 2 cans used above
Milk
Sour cream
Garlic powder
A few dashes Worchester sauce
1 container per 4 cans green beans French Fried onions
Salt and pepper to taste
Directions:
Dump green beans in crock pot, along with 1/2 container of French Fried onions
In a separate bowl, mix soup, sour cream, garlic powder, Worchester sauce, and milk until smooth. Pour over top of green beans. Fold into mixture.
Top with remaining French Fried onions.
Turn crock pot on low for 4 hours. Watch so it doesn’t burn. When it is bubbling, turn to warm.
Variations: cream cheese, fresh green beans, breadcrumbs on top with onions, onion powder
