Cyberbullying is when someone uses technology to send mean, threatening, or embarrassing messages to or about another person. It might be in a text, e-mail, direct message, or in a post online. What are your teens doing when they are online, whether it is on their computer, a tablet, or phone. Are they looking at things they shouldn’t be? Are they commenting on posts from others? Are they watching videos? Are they commenting on someone’s body? face? or hair? Are they being uplifiting or hurtful? Comments that may seems innocent to some, may be actually very hurtful.
